Date: October 3
Time: 4-5:30 PM
Portlanders often look to the Mayor and City Council for answers to what they consistently see as the number 1 problem facing Portland—unsheltered homelessness. But it is Multnomah County Commissioners who will be making the vast majority of those important decisions.
The Forum will feature 2 candidates each for District 1 and District 2 races, which will determine homeless policy and how hundreds of millions of homeless dollars will be spent over the next two or more years.
This Zoom event will be hosted by the District 4 Coalition of Neighborhood Associations in conjunction with the newly formed Homeless Solutions Coalition, which is made up of 17 neighborhood, business, and nonprofit organizations that have joined together to find solutions to Portland's most pressing challenge.
We urge you to register today and get involved in what might be the most important election Portlanders will be voting on in November!
Homeless Solutions Steering Committee:
Erik Cole, Revitalize Portland Coalition
David Dickson, Downtown Neighborhood Assn
Darlene Garrett, District 4 Coalition of Neighborhood Associations
Stan Penkin, Pearl District Neighborhood Association
Ken Thrasher, Northwest Community Conservancy
