A Pearl District Homeowner’s Testimonial About the NWCC

This morning, at about 10:30 a.m., we had some street people set a fire in Jamison Square Park. I tried calling the Park Rangers. They are closed for the holidays. I tried calling the 311 number, but it was also closed.

I then called NWCC, and they dispatched an Echelon Officer, who got the fire extinguished within 15 minutes. In his return call to me, he said it was a good thing I called because the person setting the fire was using an accelerant that spilled right before he arrived, spreading the fire.
